Christine L. DuPont

Christine L. DuPont

Director - N.J. Lic. No. 4154

Christine was born in Rahway Hospital, Rahway, NJ.  She resided in Carteret, NJ from birth to the age of 24 when she married and moved briefly to Reston, VA.  She currently resides in Stewartsville, NJ.

Christine graduated from Carteret High School, Carteret, NJ in 1985.  Before finding her calling in funeral service she worked as an office clerk for Intech Bilabs, Inc., East Brunswick, NJ and then as a Reports Production Supervisor for Enseco East, Somerset, NJ both of which were environmental laboratories.

After marrying, Christine decided to return to college to finish her education, she enrolled at Middlesex County College and graduated with an Associates Degree  in Business Administration, then continued by entering Mercer County Community Colleges Funeral Service Program where she graduated in 1995.

Prior to her graduation and while she was a student at Mercer she apprenticed for one year at Rezem Funeral Home in East Brunswick, NJ and one year for Gleason Funeral Home in Somerset, NJ.  Upon graduation she began working for Mulligan Funeral  Home and has been with us ever since, for this reason she is a valuable asset to our staff as she has developed a relationship with the families of the community in which we serve.  She is a dedicated, compassionate person and accomplished embalmer who always strives to meet or exceed our families' expectations.

In addition to being a dedicated funeral professional, Christine is a wife and mother of two. She enjoys spending time with her family, as the blessing of having children is what she cherishes most in her life.  In her off time she is an avid softball player and enjoys scrap booking.  Christine and her family are members of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Alpha, NJ and is a Catholic in good standing.  She is also a member and secretary of the Greenwich Township PTO. Christine worked here over 10 years on a full- time and part-time basis until May of 2005. She continues to assist us on an available/need basis.

Kenneth E. Ellis

Kenneth E. Ellis

Director - N.J. Lic. No. 3977

Ken was born in Brooklyn, NY, and grew up in South River, NJ. He also resided in East Brunswick, Franklin Township, and Monroe Township. He currently resides in Freehold Township.

He attended St. Mary's Parochial School, and graduated from South River High School. He is a 1990 graduate of the Mercer County Community College Funeral Service Program. Ken spent 18 years working at Brunswick Memorial Home in East Brunswick, and also worked for Freeman Funeral Home in Freehold and Manalapan before coming to Mulligan Funeral Home in 2005. Ken started in July, on a part-time basis to replace Christine.

Married to Cynthia (King), who was born in Belleville and lived in Kearny, and the father of William, Laura and James, Ken is also actively involved in his parish, St. Paul the Apostle Orthodox Church, Freehold. He was ordained to the Holy Diaconate in January, 2004, by His Eminence, Metropolitan Nicholas of Amissos of the American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church Johnstown, PA, and hopes to complete his studies for the priesthood.

From his early years, Ken always felt inclined towards either a career in funeral service or a vocation to the priesthood. At this stage of his life, he is fortunate to be able to do both, for the two go together hand in hand. Both are a life of service and interaction with people in all stages of their lives, old and young, ill and healthy, rich and poor. Ken's hallmark is servicing all people in the best manner possible, easing their grief and re affirming their beliefs in family, spirituality, and an appreciation in celebrating a life well lived.

Ken is a member of the Monmouth & Ocean County Funeral Directors Association, and was a member of the South River Lions Club. He also serves on the parish council of St. Paul's Church, Freehold. He is a regular blood and platelet donor, and enjoys spending time with his family, camping, and ministering to his parishioners. He likes a good book, a good joke , and good company.
