A Safe and wonderful place for kids to share and to help each other deal with grief about any of their losses. It is a place to share and deal with feelings, to show artwork and stories, to talk about pets, to meet with one’s peers. KIDSAID is owned and run by Griefnet.

Provides information services and technical assistance on sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and related topics.

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support – SHARE’s mission is to serve those who are touched by the tragic death of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth or newborn death. Web site offers packet of grief literature, information on local chapters, bi-monthly newsletter, resources.


Survivors of Suicide – A directory of SOS chapters, excerpts from their quarterly newsletter and suggestions for suicide survivors are available at this site.

Compassionate Friends

The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive.

The Compassionate Friends is a national nonprofit, self-help support organization that offers friendship, understanding, and hope to bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings. There is no religious affiliation and there are no membership dues or fees.

The secret of TCF's success is simple: As seasoned grievers reach out to the newly bereaved, energy that has been directed inward begins to flow outward and both are helped to heal. The vision of The Compassionate Friends is that everyone who needs us will find us and everyone who finds us will be helped.

Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America

Big Brothers Big Sisters is the most effective youth mentoring association in America, as research has proven. Founded in 1904, they are also the oldest and largest such organization. They serve over 225,000 young people ages 5 through 18, in 5,000 communities through a network of 470 agencies.

Pet Loss Support Group

St. Huberts Animal Welfare and Education Center Madison, NJ Call (973) 377-2295 from 12 - 4 daily Certified bereavement counselor conducts support group that meets on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p.m.
