Jose Carlos De Oliveira Obituary

In Loving Memory of José Carlos De Oliveira

October 9th, 1964 - January 29, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved father, a cherished friend, and an adventurer at heart, Jose Carlos De Oliveira. He departed this world on January 29th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and unforgettable memories.

Born on October 9th, 1964, in Praia Da Aguda, Porto, Portugal, Jose was a man whose spirit was as boundless as the horizons he so passionately explored. His insatiable love for travel took him to the far corners of the globe, where he immersed himself in diverse cultures, creating a tapestry of experiences that enriched his life and the lives of those fortunate enough to share in his adventures.

In addition to being a seasoned globetrotter, he was a culinary maestro in his own right. His kitchen was a realm of flavors, aromas, and culinary delights that left an indelible mark on the taste buds and hearts of family and friends alike. From exotic dishes inspired by his travels to comforting classics that brought warmth to our home, Jose had an uncanny ability to turn every meal into a celebration of life.

However, beyond his love for exploration and culinary mastery, he will be remembered most for his unwavering dedication to his family. He was a pillar of support, a constant source of guidance, and a selfless provider who found joy in helping those he held dear. Whether it was offering a comforting word, lending a helping hand, or simply being a listening ear, Jose was the epitome of familial love and unity.

As we bid farewell to Jose De Oliveira, we find solace in the countless memories that will forever remain etched in our hearts. His adventurous spirit, culinary creations, and selfless generosity have left an indelible mark on the tapestry of our lives.

A celebration of Jose's life will be held at the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Ave, Harrison, NJ 07029 on Saturday, February 3rd, during the visitation hours.  Friends and relatives may visit on Saturday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. His cremation will be held privately.

May he find eternal peace, his spirit continuing to travel the vast landscapes of the cosmos, and may his memory live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known and loved him.

Jose is survived by his loving wife Monica Oliveira, adoring children Christopher and Andrew Oliveira and Ricardo and Pamela Carrera, cherished grandchildren, Issiah, Gabriel and Liara Carrera, a dear brother, João Oliveira, and beloved nephews João Pedro and Tomás.   He was predeceased by his parents, Jose Batista-Oliveira and Dorinda Duarte Pinhal.

Rest in peace, dear Jose Carlos De Oliveira. Your journey may have come to an end, but your legacy of love and adventure will endure through the stories we share and the warmth of the memories we hold dear.
