Adan Josue Gomez, of Harrison entered into eternal rest peacefully on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024. He was 46 years old.
Friends and relatives of Adan and his family may visit the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue Harrison, NJ 07029 on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home during the visitation hours. His final disposition will be held privately.
Born in Granada, Nicaragua, Adan was a life-long resident of Harrison. "Bueno pero no te enojes.." - "Fine, but don't get mad." Chavo del Ocho. Adan enjoyed watching his favorite spanish show “El chespirito” He didn’t like conflict and everyone knew him as sweetheart due to his kindness towards others and his ability to resolve issues by making everyone laugh just like his favorite show.
Adan’s passion was cooking. He went to study Culinary arts at HCCC and his favorite cuisine was Italian and loved to make Chicken Francese. Adan loved to cook for his friends and family during family gatherings.
It was during all the family gatherings while growing up where Adan picked up his dance moves and loved to dance Merengue. Adan was a natural dancer making it fun and really getting the party started, his favorite dancing partner, his sister Hazel who also learned her dance moves from her big brother Adan.
During the past few years, Adan loved watching his two sons grow up while also looking out for his youngest sister Claudia and the family dog Simba, a Mini Poodle. Adan’s final act of kindness was that he donated tissue to the NJ Sharing Network to help others in need.
Adan is survived by his beloved wife Jessenia Gomez, loving children, Caleb Josue Gomez and Israel Adan Gomez, devoted parents, Adan and Marina Gomez, dear sisters, Hazel Gomez-Rivera and her husband, Hector, and Claudia Gomez, a nephew, Gabriel Adan Rivera, and his Paternal Grandmother, Matilde Gomez.
