Anthony Jason Sanderson of Nutley, NJ, formerly of Harrison, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Sunday, August 21st, 2022. He was 19 years old.
A funeral service will be held at Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue Harrison, NJ 07029 on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 2pm. Relatives and friends may visit on Saturday from 1 to 5pm. His cremation will be private.

Anthony was born in Newark on August 24, 2002. He was raised in Harrison, NJ, and later moved to Nutley. He graduated from Harrison High School in 2020. He was an angel on earth with an infectious smile; an animal healer who was a volunteer for Peace4Paws in Westwood, NJ. Anthony was a truly great soul and will be forever missed. In his free time he enjoyed playing video games such as Mario Kart, Pokémon Go, Smash Bros, Monster Hunter and lately Multiverse. He also enjoyed playing sports such as tennis, basketball and frisbee. Anthony loved all animals especially, Rocky, Nacho, Taco, John John, Drax and Mia. He was called away into a higher world and may he continue his lighted work of inspiration and healing.
Anthony is survived by his beloved parents Gisella Ortega, David J. and Desiree Sanderson; loving siblings Joseph, Josh, Jason, Michael, Savannah, and Alexa; cherished grandparents Linda Sanderson, Teresa Narvaez, Eduardo Ortega and Pamela Stilo. Anthony also is survived by his aunts Margie Ortega, Jessica Becker, Amanda Sanderson, Tina Sulano, Angela Rodriguez, Elaine Stilo and Danielle Ruiz; and uncles Eduardo Ortega, Juan Sanderson, Dominick Ruiz, and lots of loving cousins.
He was predeceased by his Great Grandparents, Concepcion Diaz and Evangelista Narvaez, grandfather Juan Bonilla, his cousin, Miguel Narvaez.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Peace4Paws, in care of the funeral home in loving memory of Anthony.
