Antonio C. Alves

Antonio C. Alves, of Kearny entered into eternal rest peacefully in his home on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.  He was 61 years old.

Private funeral services will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Ave. Harrison, NJ 07029.

Born and raised in Paredes De Coura, Antonio moved to the United States in 1985.  He lived in Harrison for many years until finally settling in Kearny in 1996.  He worked construction at Stacy Contracting, Clifton, NJ.  He was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church, Harrison.

He enjoyed being outside, camping, hunting and fishing with family and friends, Antonio was a very happy and outgoing person that enjoyed life to the fullest.

Antonio is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Judite M. Costa, caring children Daniel Alves and his wife Liliana, and Zelia Alves and her husband Rolando, and precious grandchildren Miguel, David, Daniel, and Cristiano.  He is also survived by siblings Arlindo (Idalina), Valdemar (Cremilde), Esmeraldina (Simao), and Fernando Alves (Leocalia) also many nieces and nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents Jose and Isaurinda.
