Bernadette M. McGrath

Bernadette M. McGrath, of Harrison NJ, entered into eternal rest peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 23, 2023. She was 94 years old.

The funeral will be conducted from Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue Harrison, NJ 07029 on Saturday, January 28 th at 9am. A funeral mass will be offered at Holy Cross Church in Harrison at 10 am. Her interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Friends and relatives may visit on Friday, January 27 th from 3 to 7pm.

Born in Harrison, Bernadette was a lifelong resident. She was a CCD Teacher at Holy Cross Church School for 25 years, a parishioner of Holy Cross Church and a member of the Rosary Altar Society.

Predeceased by her husband Joseph Edward “Buddy” McGrath in 1983. She is survived by her loving children, Joseph (MaryRose), Teresa, Mary (Mark) Van Kooy, John (Susan) and Jerry McGrath, 13 cherished grandchildren and 7 dear great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bernadette was predeceased by her siblings, Thomas Mansfield, Ann Mae Harrison and John Mansfield.
