Celiria Maria Oliveira

Celiria Maria Oliveira, of Harrison, NJ entered into eternal rest after unexpected Illness at Beth Israel Hospital, Newark, NJ on December 1, 2021.  She was 76 years old.

Private funeral services will be under the direction of Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029. A funeral mass will be offered at Holy Cross Church, Harrison on Friday December 3^rd, 2021 at 10:30am.

Born in Algarve, Portugal, she was raised on her family’s farm in Poço Da Figueira. Celiria emigrate to the United States of America in 1974 and lived in the Bronx, Newark and Hoboken before settling in Harrison, NJ. She worked as a housekeeper all over New York City, but was most proud to work for Dr. Jennifer Howse and Lin Butler and her Daughters, Emily and Charlotte.

Celiria enjoyed good food and drink, storytelling, gardening, raising babies, singing lullabies, caring for her grand-dogs, hosting guests in her home in Portugal and most of all, the company of her the large family she held together.

Predeceased by her husband Jose Maria Oliveira in 2013, Celiria is survived by her daughters, Maria Da Graça Mouro and Celia Oliveira Mariano (Carlos A.), Grandchildren Sandra Cristina Mouro Marmolejos (Anthony J.), Daniel Emidio Mouro, Leanne Cristine Mariano (Catherine) and Matthew Charles Mariano as well as Great-Grandchildren Dean Alexander and Mariana Cristina Rodriguez and Camila Cristina and Lucia Cristina Marmolejos. She is also survived by her Grandson in law Angel Rodriguez, Siblings, Maria Jose, Zulmira, Felisbella and Joaquim and by countless nieces, nephews and cousins in Portugal and Australia. She was predeceased by her brother Antonio.
