Daniel “Beatle Dan” Dignazio, of Harrison, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Wednesday February 12, 2020. He was 68 years old.
The funeral service will be held at the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029, on Friday, February 14 at 7:30 pm. Viewing hours will be Friday from 6 to 8pm.

Born in West Hudson Hospital, Daniel grew up in Kearny, NJ and moved to Harrison in the 1990s. He worked maintenance and security at the Jewish Community Project Charter School, Manhattan for many years retiring in June 2017. Prior to that, he owned and managed his own Overhead Door Business in Kearny. Most recently, he worked as a Crossing Guard for the Harrison Police Department before retiring in 2019.
He graduated from Kearny High School in 1969. Dan was a proud member of the Harrison Lions club. Being involved in his community was important to him. His love of music followed him throughout his life. After he retired, he taught himself how to play the Ukulele by watching YouTube videos. Expressing himself through music brought great joy to his life. He was an avid football fan and his favorite team was the NY Giants.
Dan was predeceased by his wife Patricia, his son Daniel, III, and his parents Daniel and Jane Dignazio. He is survived by many close and cherished friends that became family over the years.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Harrison Cancer League in care of the funeral home, in memory of Daniel.
