Edwin G. Marshman, Jr.

Edwin G. Marshman Jr, of Kearny, NJ, entered into eternal rest peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 6th 2021.  He was 66 years old.

Funeral services will be private under the direction of Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029. He will be buried in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ on July 27, 2021.

Born in Kearny, Edwin was a lifelong resident of Harrison.   He worked for the United States Postal Service as a Clerk, for 35 years, retiring a few years ago. After graduating from Kearny High School in 1973, Edwin served our Country in the US Airforce as a Senior Airman during the Vietnam War from 1973 until 1977. He was a member of the American Legion Post 282, Harrison and the Hawthorne Caballeros Drum and Bugle Corps, Hawthorne, NJ.

Edwin is survived by his son Jim Marshman (Melissa), his grandchildren Mia and Joshua, his brothers Scott (John) and Bob (Veronica) Marshman, nephews Robert and Aiden Marshman, and his Godmother Edna McGilly, also many cousins. He was predeceased by his father Edwin G. Marshman in March 2021.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Legion Post 282, Harrison, NJ or in care of the funeral home, in loving memory of Edwin.
