Eleanor L. Chundak

Eleanor Chundak (nee Zawalich) of Harrison, NJ passed away peacefully in Livingston, NJ on Friday, July 14, 2023.  She was 95 years old.         

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday, July 19,, 2023 at 11am in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  If you would like to attend, please meet at the Cemetery Office (340 Ridge Road North Arlington, NJ 07031) at 10:30am.

A Memorial Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Harrison at a later date.

Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue Harrison, NJ 07029 is in charge of Eleanor’s funeral arrangements.

Born in Newark, NJ, Eleanor lived most of her life in Harrison and Kearny, NJ. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, a member of the Rosary Altar Society and a member of the National Polish Home, formerly located in Harrison, NJ.   She was also the Parish Secretary for many years before retiring.

Predeceased by her Husband, Paul, who was a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, in 1984, Eleanor is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
