Eliezer Morffi

Eliezer Morffi, of Lyndhurst, NJ entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 7th.  He was 81 years old.

The Funeral will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029 on Monday, October 18th at 9:30am.  Relatives and friends may express their condolences on Sunday, October 17th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.   Holy Mass will be on Monday October 18th at 10:30am at Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst NJ.

Born and raised in Cuba, Eliezer most recently resided in Lyndhurst, NJ.   Eliezer worked for Granada Construction Corporation in Newark, NJ for five years. Prior to that, he worked for Krieger Trucking and Rodriguez Tire Shop in Newark, NJ as a Diesel Mechanic for many years. 

He loved playing dominos and building puzzles. He was also a gifted carpenter, which was his favorite past time. He enjoyed listening and dancing to salsa music. His favorite singers were Gloria Estefan and Marc Anthony.

Eliezer is survived by his wife Nereida, his children Evelyn, Norma, Miriam, Damaris, Jorge, Heriberto and Javier, his grandchildren Eddie, Nery, Marissa, Brandon, Javier, Arianna, Ana-Jolie, Jaylene, Gabriel, Damaris and Jenni. He is also survived by his brother Enrique, his sister Eneida, his aunt Ana and nephew Rolando. He was predeceased by his parents Mario and Valentina Morffi.

El funeral se llevará a cabo desde la funeraria Mulligan, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029 el Lunes 18 de  Octubre a las 9:30am.  Los familiares y amistades pueden expresar sus condolencias el Domingo 17 Octubre, de 5:00pm a 8:00pm.  La Santa Misa sera Lunes 18 de Octubre, a las 10:30am en la iglesia del Sagrado Corazón en Lyndhurst, NJ.

También le sobreviven su hermano Enrique, su hermana Eneida, su tía Ana y su sobrino Rolando. Sus padres Mario y Valentina Morffi  fallecieron antes.
