Elizabeth “Betty” Traettino, (nee De Vivo) of Harrison, NJ, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 14th, 2019. She was 94 years old.
The funeral will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029, on Thursday, April 18th, 2019 at 9:45am. A Funeral Blessing will follow at Holy Cross Church, Harrison at 10:30am. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 2 to 8pm and Thursday after 8:45 am. Her Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
Born in Harrison, Betty was a lifelong resident and loved the Harrison community. She worked as a secretary for the Hudson County Probation Department in Jersey City for many years. She was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church, Harrison for over 60 years and was an active member of the Holy Cross Rosary Society. Betty also participated in the Harrison Cancer League and the Harrison American Legion for many years. Betty and Fred enjoyed travelling with family members, as well as the Harrison Senior Citizens organization.
Beloved wife of the late Alfred V. “Freddy” Traettino (2006), she is survived by her loving sister, Mary Ann DiBartolomeo and her husband Joseph and her brother Philip De Vivo and his wife Arlene.
She is also survived by many loving stepchildren, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and godchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Alfred V. “Freddy” Traettino (2006) and her brother Theodore De Vivo.
