Elizabeth "Betty" Lees

Elizabeth “Betty” Lees formerly of Kearny, NJ, Entered into Eternal Rest peacefully at Attleboro Nursing and Rehab Center, Langhorne, PA on Monday, March 30, 2020.  She was 90 years old.   

Private funeral services will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Ave. Harrison, NJ 07029. Her interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery, Montclair, NJ.

Born and raised in Kearny, Betty raised her family there before retiring to Bucks County, PA 25 years ago.    

A dedicated volunteer to her community, Betty volunteered at the Senior Center, Fairless Hills, PA and St. Mary’s Hospital, Langhorne, PA for many years.  Prior to that, she was a parishioner of St. Cecilia’s Church, Kearny where she was also a member of the Church’s Rosary Altar Society and Friday Night Bingo.  Betty felt fortunate that she was able to travel the world upon retirement, which she greatly enjoyed.

Predeceased by her Husband Charles, Betty was also the devoted mother of Charles M. Jr. and his wife Yelena, and Steven. Cherished grandmother of Jacqueline, Jennifer, Jessica, John and Charles and the loving Great Grandmother of Cameron and Amaya.  She was predeceased by her son, John C., daughter Catherine Ann Calorio and a sister, Helen Manley.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) 4950 York Road # 631 Holicong, PA, in loving memory of Betty.
