Frances DeRocker

Frances DeRocker of Harrison, NJ entered into eternal rest at St. Michael’s Medical Center on Tuesday, December 31, 2019. She was 73 years old.         

A Memorial Service will be held at Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue Harrison, NJ 07029 on Saturday, January 11th at 5:30pm.  A Memorial Gathering will take place at the funeral home from 2pm to 6pm.

Born in Trenton, NJ she grew up in Hancock, NY. and moved to Harrison in 1963 after meeting the love of her life, Joseph DeRocker.

Frances worked at the Concessions at the Medadowlands for many years, prior to that, she worked as a Crossing Guard for the town of Harrison.   She was also a dedicated worker and laborer at the Eagle’s Factory in Harrison for many years.

Predeceased by her husband Joseph DeRocker (2007), She is survived by her loving children, Joseph L. DeRocker, III, and his wife, Michelle, Thomas DeRocker and his wife, Kirsten, Joann Easterday and her husband, Joseph and Donna Flatley and her husband, Thomas.  She is also survived by her caring siblings Dorothy “Dot” and Joseph Wignall, Diane Van Louvander, and her dear sister in law Judith Mikilitus.  She is also survived by her precious grandchildren Joseph Leopold DeRocker IV, Mathew John DeRocker, Thomas Joseph DeRocker, Stephanie Ann Flatley, Stephen Michael Easterday, Brian Anthony Easterday, and Jason Owen Easterday and Brittnay DeRocker.  She was predeceased by her sister Mary Keesler, her brothers William and Thomas Wignall, and a sister in law, Dorothy Aughtry.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Harrison Cancer League in care of the funeral home, in loving memory of Frances.
