Hope Walsh August

Hope Walsh August of Lyndhurst entered into eternal rest at Hackensack Medical Center, Hackensack, NJ on Saturday, February 15, 2025. She was 60 years old.

A funeral service will be held at the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029, on Friday, February 28, at 10:00 am. Her interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Friends and relatives of Hope and her family are invited to attend her visitation on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday morning after 9:00 am.

Born in Newark and raised in Harrison, she lived in East Newark for many years, most recently residing in Lyndhurst. 

Hope loved music and being outdoors.  She was a big animal lover and spending time with her grandchildren.

Hope is survived by her beloved children, Samantha, Troy, and Melissa, and she took great pride in being a grandma to Noah and Elias, along with loving her other two grandsons, Brandon and Jayden. She is also survived by her loving companion, Tony Hess, and dear siblings, Robert, Rusty, Brian, Colleen, and Johnny, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings Raymond, Carolyn, Freddy and Maria, and her parents Robert and Mariel.
