Ildefonso G. DaCosta

Ildefonso G. DaCosta of Harrison, entered into eternal rest at St. Michael’s Medical Center on Friday, June 28^th, 2019.  He was 63 years old.         

A memorial gathering will be held at Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue Harrison, NJ 07029 on Friday from 6pm to 8:30pm.    A memorial service will be held at 8:30pm.

Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Ildefonso lived in the Ironbound Section of Newark until moving to Harrison in 1985.

He most recently worked as a Crossing Guard in Harrison.  Prior to that he worked at Defeo Ford in Jersey City for many years.   

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sonia, loving children Ildefonso G. DaCosta Jr., Margarida B. Poznar and her husband Mark, and Jennifer B. DaCosta-Silva and her husband, Eric,  a cherished grandson James Antonio Poznar, and dear siblings, Maria Angela Costa and Pedro G. DaCosta.
