Jacek "Jack" Kijek

Jacek “Jack” Kijek of Kearny, formerly of Harrison, entered into eternal rest at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, NJ on May 14th, 2024.   He was 62 years old.         

The funeral will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029 on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 9:00 am.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Harrison at 10:00am. Friends and relatives of Jacek are invited to attend his visitation on Monday, May 20 from 3:00pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Born and raised in, Lomza, Poland, Jacek immigrated to the United States in 1998 and lived in Harrison for 20 years before moving to Kearny recently.

Jacek worked for the Harrison Board of Education for many years.  He was a member of the Polish National Home in Harrison.  

Jacek is survived by his beloved wife, Malgorzata, loving daughters, Justyna Kijek and Anna Steiner her husband Robert, a cherished grandchild, Lucas Steiner and a dear brother, Darek Kijek.

He was predeceased by his parents, Jerzy and Krystyna Kijek.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home, in loving memory of Jacek.
