Jacqueline J. Heilmann, of Kearny, Entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Saint Michael’s Medical Center, Newark. She was 85 years old.
A funeral service will be held during the Visitation hours at Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029. Relatives and Friends may visit on Tuesday, from 4 to 8pm. Her cremation will be private.
Born in Holy Name Medical Center, Teaneck, Jacqueline was raised in Bogota, NJ and eventually moved to Kearny in 1961. She worked at Kearny Speedwash Dry Cleaners for 14 years retiring in 1986. Throughout her life, she also worked as a babysitter and caretaker for many years.
She greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, as she was a constant presence in their lives. An avid sports fan, Jacqueline followed the New England Patriots, L.A. Lakers and Washington Wizards. She enjoyed art, especially drawing and music and trips to Atlantic City.
Predeceased by her husband Phillip in 1994, and a daughter, Linda Heilmann (1987), she is survived by a loving daughter, Lisa Limao, 3 dear grandchildren, Tiffany Heilmann and Joao and Luis Limao and a cherished great-grandson, Antonio De La Rosa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Janet Orgero and Barbara Trobiano.
