Jadwiga Zalewska

Jadwiga Zalewska of Harrison, NJ. Entered into eternal rest peacefully at home on Monday, March 16, 2020. She was 92 years old.         

The Funeral will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue Harrison, NJ 07029.   A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Harrison, on Friday at 11am. Her interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.

Born and raised in Poland, Jadwiga moved to the United States in 1977, and eventually settled in Harrison.   

Jadwiga was a parishioner of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, in Harrison where she was also a member of the Church’s Rosary Altar Society. 

Predeceased by her husband, Antoni Zalewski (2003). She was the devoted mother of Halina Pawlowicz (Louis), Krystyna Bylczynska, Barbara Winter (Ryszard); Cherished grandmother of nine and the loving Great Grandmother of seven.  She was also predeceased by her son’s, Tadeusz and Antoni Jr.
