John A. "Jack" Gillon

John Andrew “Jack” Gillon Jr., formerly of Kearny, NJ entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.    He was 90 years old.

The funeral will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue Harrison, NJ on Saturday March 29, 2025 at 9:30 am.    A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church, Harrison at 10:00 am. His Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum,  North Arlington.  Friends and relatives of John and his family may visit on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

Born and raised in Kearny, John moved to Harrison after marrying the love of his life, Dolores Lutrario. He will be remembered as a loving, father, grandpa, and friend. His happiest times were spent surrounded by his family.

He served his Country in the United States Army during the Korean War for 9 years upon receiving an honorable discharge.   He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Harrison for many years.

Predeceased by his wife, Dolores ( 2005) John is survived by his loving children, John A Gillon, III and his wife, Elizabeth, and Daniel J. Gillon, and cherished grandchildren, Hope and Jonathan Gillon.
