Jose Lorenzo

Jose Lorenzo, of Harrison, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Thursday August 20, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway. He was 87 years old.

The funeral will be conducted from Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029, on Monday, August 24 at 11am.  Viewing hours will begin Monday at 10am. A funeral service will be held at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum at 11:30am.

Born and raised in Galicia, Spain Jose immigrated to the US in 1974 and settled in Harrison. He was a Porter at Saint James Hospital, in Newark for many years. Prior to coming to that Jose was a tailor in Spain.   

Jose was predeceased by his wife Encarnacion in 2013. He was the loving father of Jose Manuel (Liana), Severino (Sonia), Antoni (Maria Dolores) and Maria Vella (John), Cherished grandfather of, Manuel, Francisco, Ana, Veronica, Antonio and Brian, Loving brother of Carmen and Antonio Lorenzo. He was also an uncle to many nieces and nephews and cousins.  

He was predeceased by his brothers, Manolo, Severino and Ramon Lorenzo.
