Joyce Kay Patterson

Joyce Kay Patterson, (nee Hartman) of Hawley, Paupack Township, Pennsylvania, formerly of Harrison, NJ, entered into eternal rest peacefully at home, on Thursday, June 23, 2022. She was 79 years old.

A funeral service will be held at the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029 on Tuesday, June 28th at 5:30pm.  Friends and relatives may visit on Tuesday from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Her Cremation will be private.

Born in Jersey City, Joyce was raised in Harrison, before moving to Hawley Pennsylvania in 2002. She worked in the Cafeteria at Queen of Peace High School for many years. Prior to that, she worked as a Sales Associate for The Jewel Shop and Two Guys, both in Kearny. She was a member of the Sargent William Sawelson VFW Women’s Auxiliary Post # 340, Harrison.   In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting baby blankets.

Predeceased by her husband, Daniel Patterson, Sr. during the Summer of 2021, Joyce is survived by her loving children, Christopher (Angela),Daniel Jr. and Stuart, her cherished Grandchildren Daniel Joseph, Kyle, Ryan, Connor, Matthew and Ryan, and dear siblings,William Hartman, Jr (Jane) and Carol Liotti (Gary). She was predeceased by her siblings, Robert Hartman and Joan Ostrowski.
