Born in Clara Maass Hospital and raised in Belleville, Kelsey lived in River Edge most recently. She attended Englewood Baptist Church in Englewood. She graduated Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts. (With a concentration in Photography)
Kelsey was know for her creativity and love of art. She worked in many different mediums- Photography, poetry, drawing, painting, and ceramics. She created wonderful pieces and sold them through her business KAG crafts. As much as she loved her art, nothing compared to the love she had for her children and being a mother. This was her greatest joy, her proudest role, and her deepest purpose in life saying Kelsey was a wonderful mother is an understatement. She adored her babies, Joralane (4) and Jude (3), with every ounce of her being. They were her world—her reason to fight, her reason to smile, her reason to get up each day and keep going despite everything she faced. She poured her entire heart into them, and she never stopped worrying about their future, their happiness, and their safety. To watch her with her children was to witness pure love. To her, there was nothing more important.
Kelsey is survived by her beloved Fiancé, Javonte J. Ginn, cherished children Joralane Aliza Graham-Ginn and Jude Atlas Graham-Ginn, her loving Mother Yvette Laver and her second Mother, Natasha Ginn, dear siblings, Thomas D. Laver, Danielle J. Graham, her brother in law Christofer S. Mulvihill, and her “Seester” Susan D. Daly. She is also survived by many loving extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph Graham in 2013.
