Kenneth Joseph Doran

Kenneth Doran of Newton, NJ, formerly of Harrison entered into eternal rest peacefully on Sunday, November 5, 2023. He was 59 years old.

The Funeral will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue Harrison, NJ 07029 on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 9:45 am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Saint Patrick’s Pro Cathedral, 91 Washington Street, Newark, NJ 07102 at 10:30 am. Friends and relatives may visit on Wednesday, November 8 th from 3:00 to 7:00 pm and Thursday morning after 9:00 am. His final disposition will be private.

Born in Newark and raised in Harrison, Kenneth moved to Newton last year. He worked for Saint Barnabas Hospital as the Lead MRI Technician for the last 32 years. He was a parishioner of Saint Patrick’s Pro Cathedral, Newark.

Kenny worked in the health field as a MRI Technician his entire careerand was known for his compassion and care for his patients. He loved to

travel to Cape Cod where he married his husband, Peter. He loved spending time with family and his dog Zesus. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan.

Ken is survived by his husband, Peter Chattergoon Doran, siblings, John and his wife Vilma, James and his husband Ricky and Billy and his wife

Denise, his mother and father in law, Bishop Robert and Rebonie Yearwood, cousins, Kevin and Russell Markowski and Kimberly Woods.

Kenny was so proud of and loved his many God Children, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his Parents, Robert and Sandra Doran, his brother, Robert Doran, Jr., and Aunt Bernice “Sis” Markowski.
