Louis J. Cecere

Louis J. Cecere of Harrison, formerly of Kearny entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville.  He was 76 years old.

A funeral service will be held the Mulligan Funeral Home 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029 on Thursday, November 16th during the viewing hours.   Friends and relatives may visit on Thursday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm His final disposition will be held privately.

Born in Jersey City, Louis was raised in North Bergen before moving to Kearny many years ago.    Most recently and upon retirement, Louis lived in Harrison.  He worked as a Carpenter for the United States Postal Service for many years.

He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was Honorably discharged.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Janeann Cecere, loving children, Linda Fitzpatrick and her husband Steven, Donna Walsh, Kathy Wadleigh and her husband Russell, Kenny Slattery, and Karen Andrzejewski and her husband Danny, dear siblings, Joseph Cecere and his wife Christina and Nora Dorwood and her husband Jim, 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary Cerere and by his son Richard Powers.
