Luzmila Rojas

Our angel, Luzmila Rojas also known as “Mamá Mila''  went from one dream to another on April 15th, 2020 at 2:40 pm in Elizabeth, NJ. Luzmila was born in Chimbote, Peru. However, in Lima, Perú is where she spent the majority of her life helping those in need without ever asking for anything in return. In the late 90’s, she moved to New Jersey, USA where she spent the rest of her life. Throughout her years of life, she raised 3 children as well as helped raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of Mulligan Funeral Home 331 Cleveland Avenue Harrison, NJ 07029.

Mamá Mila was protective & charismatic. She leaves behind beautiful memories and words of advice that everyone will forever remember. She always saw the good in every situation and believed that everything always happens for a reason and there is no reason to be upset. 

She has taught us many lessons that we will keep and cherish forever in our hearts. Now, when we look up in the sky we can remember her as one bright star that shines brighter than the rest as she said, “Cuando veas una estrella en el cielo, y esta sola, esa soy yo”. 

Mamá Mila, the sky looks so much brighter now, we know that you will always be watching over us.
