Marco Vinicio "Negrito" Guevara

Marco Vinicio “Negrito” Guevara, of Harrison, Entered into eternal rest on at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville on Monday, January 18, 2021.  He was 64 years old.

A funeral service will be held at the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue Harrison, NJ 07029 on Friday January 22, 2021 at 9:30 am.  His Interment will follow in Arlington Cemetery, Kearny.  Viewing Hours will be on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm and Friday after 8:45am.  

Born in Carchi, Ecuador, he grew up in Atuntaqui before moving to Harrison in 2003. While living in Ecuador, Marco received a college degree and worked as an Architect.    Upon moving to the U.S., he had various jobs where everybody that got to know him always thought of him as a kind and good hearted person.

He enjoyed listening to music, baking, iced creams and walks, Marco was a loving father, devoted grandfather, enjoyed spending time and caring for his grandchildren, enjoyed cooking for his family especially during the holidays, fanesca, colada morada, but Christmas was his favorite, he was always the glue of his family.

Marco is survived by his mother, Elvia Guevara, wife, Concepcion Rueda, children, Andrea, Sebastian and Matias Guevara, grandchildren, Andrea Felitsa, Kamila Annaeli and Steven Giraldo Guevara, siblings, Luis and Silvio Patricio Guevara.   He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousin.
