Maria Alvarez

Maria Alvarez (nee Cruz) of Newark, NJ, entered into eternal rest at home, on Friday, August 27th 2021.  She was 71 years old.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029 on Wednesday September 1st at 11am.  Her burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.   Viewing hours will be held on Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm and Wednesday morning after 9:45am.   

Born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, Maria lived in the Ironbound Section of Newark for over 50 years.  

She was the Beloved wife of Raul Alvarez, Devoted Mother of Raul Alvarez and his wife Dayana and Saul Alvarez and was the adored Grandmother of Xavier.
