Maria Yolanda Archer

Maria Erendira Yolanda Archer Montano of Belleville NJ, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at home. She was 69 years old. 

Relatives and friends may visit the Mulligan Funeral Home 331 Cleveland Avenue - Harrison, NJ 07029 on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held at 6:00pm, during the viewing hours.

Born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico, Maria later moved to the United States and lived in Harrison for most of her life until 2007. Her Harrison era was her happiest, she'd always say.

She held many jobs throughout her life, always a hard worker dedicated to anything she did. Most recently and especially, she enjoyed her later mission in life, working as a nurse caring for children. Before she became ill, she loved spending her time after work in her son’s restaurant.

Loved by everyone that met her, Maria made countless friends throughout her life and inspired many people that knew her. Maria loved many things but some of her favorites included listening to music (especially jazz blues and rock), reading, cigarettes, eating (especially chicharron, and jalea), drinking coffee and baileys irish cream, plants, the color black, cold foggy rainy weather, lions, elephants, rats, gazelles/deer, loving her loved ones, taking care of her health, and mostly - taking care of others.

She is survived by her beloved children, Yvette Olivos and Cesar Hernandez, cherished grandchildren, Jonathan and Xavier Manzanares, Allison Merchant and Jonathan Rodriguez, a dear sister, Margarita Yolanda Haney Archer, her lifelong companion, Manuel Ausberto Olivos, Niece Monica Martinez Arias, Uncle Arturo Arias Montano/aunt Maricarmen Jimenez, and loving best friends, Laura Badillo and Judith Ruiz.

Los familiares y amigos pueden visitar Mulligan Funeral Home 331 Cleveland Avenue - Harrison, NJ 07029 el lunes 6 de mayo de 2024 de 4:00 a 8:00 p. m.  Se llevará a cabo un funeral durante el horario de visualización. (A las 6:00 pm del lunes por la tarde)

Nacida y criada en la Ciudad de México, México, María luego se mudó a los Estados Unidos y vivió en Harrison la mayor parte de su vida hasta 2007. Su era Harrison fue la más feliz, siempre decía.

Tuvo muchos trabajos a lo largo de su vida, siempre muy trabajadora y dedicada a todo lo que hacía. Más recientemente y especialmente, disfrutó de su última misión en la vida: trabajar como enfermera cuidando niños. Antes de enfermarse, le encantaba pasar el tiempo después del trabajo en el restaurante de su hijo.

Amada por todos los que la conocieron, María hizo innumerables amigos a lo largo de su vida e inspiró a muchas personas que la conocieron. A María le encantaban muchas cosas, pero algunas de sus favoritas incluían escuchar música (especialmente jazz, blues y rock), leer, fumar, comer (especialmente chicharrón y jalea), tomar café y crema irlandesa baileys, plantas, el color negro, el frío la niebla y la lluvia clima, leones, elefantes, ratas, gacelas/ciervos, amar a sus seres queridos, cuidar su salud y, sobre todo, cuidar de los demás.

Le sobreviven sus queridos hijos, Yvette Olivos y César Hernández, sus queridos nietos, Jonathan y Xavier Manzanares, Allison Merchant y Jonathan Rodríguez, una querida hermana, Margarita Yolanda Haney Archer, su compañera de toda la vida, Manuel Ausberto Olivos, su sobrina Mónica Martínez Arias, Tío Arturo Arias Montano/tía Maricarmen Jiménez, y sus queridas mejores amigas, Laura Badillo y Judith Ruiz.
