Mary McCann

Mary McCann (nee Buchanan) entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 09, 2021.  She was 85 years old.
 

The funeral will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029 on Wednesday, April 14th at 9:45 am. A funeral mass will be offered at Holy Cross Church, Harrison at 10:30 am. Friends and relatives may visit Tuesday from 6 to 9 pm and Wednesday after 9 am. Her interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

She was born on April 22, 1935 in Clydebank, Scotland and emigrated to the US in 1955 where she was employed as a nanny.  After raising her family she was employed by Local 32 BJ for 25 years before retiring in 1996. She resided in Harrison and Kearny for 40 years before moving to Sussex County in 1999.

Mary is survived by 4 children, a daughter Mary Maier, her husband Richard and 3 sons John, Matthew and Robert. Also surviving are a sister Elizabeth of Mt. Olive sisters Jean, Bridget and a brother James, all of Clydebank, Scotland, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Robert and her sisters Martha and Ann, and brothers Matthew, Joseph and Redmond.
