Matthew J. Mroz, Jr.

Matthew J. Mroz, Jr., of Harrison, NJ Entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 3, 2021.   He was 43 years old.

The funeral will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Ave. Harrison, NJ 07029 on Friday April 9th at 10:15am. Friends and relatives may visit on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm and Friday after 9:30am.  A funeral mass will be offered at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Harrison at 11am. His entombment will take place at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.

Born in Belleville, MJ was raised and a lifelong resident of Kearny, before recently moving to Harrison.  He was a Sheet Metal Mechanic for Complete Spiral Tinknocker in New York for many years. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local # 28, Mineola, NY. He served his country in the Army National Guard, during the Operation Enduring Freedom, Serving in Iraq.

MJ is survived by his beloved children, Halina Rose and Haylee J. Mroz, his  loving parents Matthew and Halina Mroz, and by his cherished sisters Jenniffer Furgone and Kim Toro Mroz. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
