Michael G. Shenton

Michael G. Shenton, of Kearny, New Jersey entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Saint Barnabas Hospital, Livingston. He was 62 years old. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Ave. Harrison, NJ 07029. Friends and relatives may visit on Thursday March 18, from 6pm to 8pm.  Funeral service will be held during viewing hours at 8pm.

Born in Bronx, New York, Michael was raised in Belleville, and moved to Kearny in 1991.  He worked in the Public Works for the Town of Kearny. Michael served his Country in the Marine Corps, overseas Okinawa Japan, he became a Marine Veteran Stationed Parris Island, SC.

He enjoyed playing video games, watching WWE and spending time with his family. He also couldn’t get enough of his Mountain Dew. 

Michael is survived by his wife Elaine Shenton, step daughters, Andi Lee Erdman and Dawn Erdman. He is survived by his siblings, William Shenton Jr, Patrick Keegan, Michelle Ruggiero, and Lyndy Shenton. Michael is also survived by many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Michael is predeceased by his sisters Donna Dolan and Gloria Magara.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Wounded Warrior Foundation, in care of the funeral home in loving memory of Michael.
