Nelly Flores

Nelly Flores of East Newark, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 5th 2025.

The funeral will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue Harrison, NJ 07029 on Monday, November 10th, 2025.  A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Harrison, NJ at 11:00 am.  Friends and relatives of Nelly and her family may attend her visitation on Sunday, November 9th, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  Her committal service will take place after the funeral mass at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover.

Born in Cabana, Ancash, Peru, Nelly was raised in Lima.  Nelly enjoyed her life there before immigrating to Harrison, NJ in 1974, later purchasing a home in East Newark in 1985.  She worked for Saint Michael’s Hospital in Newark, NJ for many years.  Nelly greatly enjoyed life and loved her family very much.

Nelly was known for her joyful spirit and deep devotion to her family.  She is survived by her beloved children, Leila, Mirella, Percy, Danfert, Rocio, nine loving grandchildren, eighteen great – grand children, one precious great – great grand.

She was predeceased by her father, Cesar Agusto Miñano and her mother Maria Alvarez.
