Olive Claire Bottino entered into eternal rest peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2020. She was 88 years old.
Private funeral services are under the direction of Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Ave. Harrison, NJ 07029.
Olive was born and raised in Newark. She moved to New York City where she worked as a Stewardess and Secretary. She married and had her son Peter. She then settled in Norristown, PA, where she was a manager at Rosenbluth travel. In 1980 she relocated with her son to Spring Lake, NJ, where she worked in the travel industry as an Agent and Teacher at Taylor Business Institute. She later worked in warranty sales at Pine Belt Cheverlot. She most recently lived in Avon and Toms River. Claire was a proud alumni of St. Vincent's Academy where she played basketball and graduated with high honors. Claire enjoyed the beach, reading,and trips to Atlantic City. She was always an exceptionally loving and devoted mother.
Olive is survived by her loving son Peter Bottino.
She is predeceased by her parents August Rauscher and Olive Stickel, her sisters Joan Guthrie and Beverly Ryan, and her nephew Tom Guthrie.
