Pilar Cabrera

Pilar Cabrera, of East Brunswick, NJ, formerly of Kearny, Entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was 84 years old.

A funeral service will be held at the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029 on Friday, November 15^th.  Viewing hours will be held on Thursday, from 4 to 9pm and Friday after 9:30am.  Her Interment will take place in Arlington Cemetery, Kearny.

Born and raised in Oruro, Bolivia, Pilar came to the United States and settled in NYC before moving to Kearny.   From 2012 to 2019 she split her time between Fairfax, Virginia and Kearny, NJ.   Most recently, she moved to East Brunswick to be with her family.  Prior to arriving in the US, she received an Administrative Degree and worked as an Executive Secretary in Bolivia.   After arriving in the US, Pilar owned her own business until 1999 when she retired.  She was a member of Iglesia Pentecostal Bethel in Fairfax.

Pilar is survived by her beloved children, Victor Enriquez (Anna Maria), Raul, Gloria, Carmen, Oscar (Monica), Patricia Cabrera, Lina, and Christina Maldonado and by 10 cherished grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, and two dear siblings, Hugo and Ester Cabrera. She is also survived by her companion Jorge Gomez. Pilar was predeceased by her siblings Alberto, Jose and Christina Cabrera.
