Robert W. Hartman

Robert W. Hartman of Harrison, NJ, entered into eternal rest at home on Thursday, May 2, 2019.  He was 72 years old. 

A Funeral Service will be held Sunday at Mulligan Funeral Home 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029 during the visitation period.   A viewing will be held on Sunday, May 5th from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.  Robert’s Cremation will be private.

Born in Newark, NJ he lived most of his life in Harrison/Kearny, NJ he then moved to South Plainfield, NJ, then to Whitehouse Station, NJ. Robert worked as a Truck Driver for 40+ years, retiring in 2013. He was a member of the American Legion Post #282, Harrison. He also was a Vietnam War Veteran who served his country in the United States Army.

He loved the warm weather, being outdoors, fishing and crabbing.

Predeceased by his wife Carol A. (2004) and his parents William & Lorena Hartman, he is survived by loving son Brian and his wife Tracy, his dear siblings Joan Ostrowski, Joyce Patterson, William Hartman, Jr. and Carol Liotti. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and his dear friend Artie Cuff.                                                         

He loved his dogs Holly & Lily.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the funeral home to help defray Robert’s funeral expenses, in care of the funeral home, in loving memory of Robert.
