Rocco A. Russomanno, Sr.

Rocco A. Russomanno, Sr., of Harrison, NJ, Entered into eternal rest suddenly on Friday, August 9, 2019.  He was 81 years old.

The funeral will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029 on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 9:45am.  A funeral mass will be offered at Holy Cross Church, Harrison at 10:30 am.   His Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.   Relatives and Friends may call on Tuesday, from 2 to 8pm and Wednesday after 9am.   If you would like to send a condolence message to his family, please visit www.mulliganfh.com.

Born in Newark, Rocco was raised and lived in Harrison.   He worked as a Teacher for Montclair High School for 27 years.   He received a Bachelor of Science and Master’s Degree in Physics from Farleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck in the late 1960’s.   He was a Parishioner of Holy Cross Church, Harrison for many years. 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Marietta, loving children, Angelina and her husband Frank and Rocco and his wife Dawn.  Cherished grandchildren, Frank, Olivia, Rocco and Joseph, caring In laws, Alma, Angela and Jo Ann and Ronald Russomanno, “Everyone’s favorite Uncle” dear nieces and nephews, Lisa and Anthony Ditchkus, Laura Marchitto, Nicole Garcia, Angelo, Christina Gabriel, Gina and Mario Russomanno, Jo Ann Kosobiecki, Anthony and Rocco Russomanno, Anna Riccardi, Michele McGlynn, Renee Brana and Lisa Morris.    He was predeceased by his Parents, Antonio and Angelina Russomanno and his sister and brother, Loretta and Anthony Russomanno.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to:  St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital OR Wounded Warrior Project, in care of the funeral home,  in loving memory of Rocco.
