Stephen J. Wysocki, Jr. of Dingmans Ferry, PA. formerly of Harrison, entered into eternal rest at New York Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, Cortlandt, New York on Friday, December 20, 2024. He was 77 years old.
The funeral will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029 on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 10:00 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Harrison at 11:00 am. Friends and relatives of Stephen and his family are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, January 2 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and Friday morning after 9:00 am at the funeral home.

Born in Newark, NJ, and raised in Mayfield, PA. Stephen enlisted into the United States Marine Corps at 17 years of age and served two tours in the Vietnam War. He was later Honorably discharged achieving the rank of Sergeant. He later moved to New Jersey, where he met and married Gloria and lived in Garfield, NJ before eventually settling in Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania. He worked as a Chief Lineman for PSE&G Metropolitan Division, Irvington, NJ for many years.
Stephen was an active member of the American Legion, Post 282, Harrison and Post 139 of Milford, PA, the VFW Post # 1302 Wilson-Gugelman, Kearny, NJ and VFW Tri-State Naval Ship Post # 7241, Port Jervis, NY and also the Polish National Home, Harrison. In his free time he greatly enjoyed Hunting and Fishing.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Gloria Wysocki (nee Ferrari) and dear sisters Jean Evans (Frederick T. Evans) and Alice Wolfe, a nephew, Frederick J. Evans and a niece, Michelle Bublick. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen J. and Wanda Wysocki.
Stephen loved his six little canine girls: Boo-Boo, Blondie, Lilly-Lu, Lulu, Coco-Chanel, Enjoli.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital OR Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Kanab, Utah, in care of the funeral home in loving memory of Stephen.
