Steven Fred Marchitto

Steven Fred Marchitto, Sr. of Harrison, New Jersey, Entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 2nd after a brief illness at Clara Maass Medical Center.  He was 64 years old.

Friends and relatives may visit Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue, Harrison, NJ 07029 on Thursday November 4th from 4 to 6pm.

Born in Jersey City, Steven was raised in Harrison. He lived in the Poconos for most of his life and recently moved back to Harrison.  He was the Owner and Operator of Alpha Construction in the Poconos for many years. He took great pride in being a Master Carpenter. In his younger years, he worked as a Truck Driver. 

He was the Drummer for the Rock Band “Wild Child” for many years.

Steven is survived by his Fiancé Janice Hinchcliffe, his Children Dyane (Daniel) Hidrovo, Christopher Lindsay, Steven Marchitto, Jr. Carl Lutz, III, and Elizabeth Antalosky, Grandchildren, Justyn Melo and Pacey Hidrovo. He is also survived by his Sister Donna Marchitto Botas, Anthony Marchitto, Patricia Ann Marchitto Lunapiena, sister in law Laura Marchitto and her son, Freddie Marchitto, III, also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his Parents Fred and Jennie Marchitto Sr., and his brother Fred Marchitto Jr. in 2019.
