Suzanne Lynn Osbourne

Suzanne Lynn Osbourne of Harrison, NJ peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 11, 2024.    She was 73 years old.

The funeral will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Avenue Harrison, NJ on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 11:00am. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint Cecilia Church, Kearny at Noon.  Her interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Friends and relatives of Suzanne and her family may visit on Monday from 4 pm to 8pm and Tuesday morning after 10:00am.

Born and raised in Arima, Trinidad and Tobago Suzanne moved to Harrison 20 years ago. She was a faithful parishioner at Saint Cecilia Church, Kearny for many years. She will be remembered as a loving, mother, grandma, sister and friend. Her happiest times were spent surrounded by her family.  Suzanne was a member of the Mausica Teachers’ College Alumni Association. She graduated from The University of the West Indies with a Master’s Degree in Education. She began her career as a teacher at home and continued as a teacher for the Newark Board of Education after moving to Harrison.

Suzanne spent her time recently devoted to being there for her loving grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking and sharing her meal plans with her sisters, listening to soca and keeping up with her soap operas. She was also an avid participant in her Bible Studies class.

Suzanne is survived by her beloved children, Ryan Osbourne and Rhia Osbourne and her partner, Helio Antunes, cherished grandchildren, Adriana Vila and Ethan Antunes, her ex-husband, Lennox Osbourne, dear siblings Deryck, Michael, Jerry and Camille Soogrim and Karen Lopez, Sandra Whiteman and Patricia How Chung along with many loving nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ewart and Evelyn Soogrim.
