Theresa Stewart

Theresa Stewart (nee Russo), of South Carolina, NJ, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 23, 2020. She was 101 years old.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Ave. Harrison, NJ 07029 on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 10am to 12pm. The memorial service will take place at the Funeral home at Noon. Her ashes will be buried in her family’s plot in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

Born in New York, NY, Theresa lived in the Ironbound Section of Newark, Bloomfield, NJ and Illinois before she settled in South Carolina. She was a member of the Boy Scouts, Newark, NJ Troop # 102 and also a volunteer and Association Member. She was a Parishioner of Mt. Carmel Church, Newark for many years.

Theresa is survived by her son, James Michael Stewart and his wife Patricia, her grandchildren John and Timothy Leuver, Kelley DaCunha, Tara Eccles and Stacie Joonoos, cherished great grandchildren, Ethan Eccles, Madison Morales and Liam DaCunha and by many nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her daughter and son in law Deborah and James Leuver and her siblings Margaret George, Jenny Vetorano, Rose Nardone and Matthew and Michael Russo.
