Vincent Sperduto Obituary

 

 

 

 

Vincent Sperduto, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, formerly of Kearny, NJ, entered into eternal rest peacefully in Erlanger Hospital, Chattanooga on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020.  He was 77 years old.

 

Private funeral services will be conducted from the Mulligan Funeral Home, 331 Cleveland Ave. Harrison, NJ 07029.   His Interment will take place in his family’s cemetery plot in Arlington Cemetery, Kearny.

 

Born and raised in Newark, Vincent married the love of his life and lived on Tappan Street in Kearny for 37 years.  They relocated to Tennessee 5 years ago. He worked for Comet Messenger Service in Chatman, NJ for many years.  He was a member of the VFW # 1302, Wilson Gugelman, Kearny and the Disabled American Veterans in Belleville, NJ.  He served his Country in the US Army (Spec. 4) and received a purple heart for his exemplary service during his time in Vietnam.

 

Vincent is survived by his beloved wife Jacqueline Sperduto (nee Wood), loving children, Dawn Marie Sperduto- Tenney, Rosemary Sperduto- Pierson, Tracy Lyn Sperduto and Patrick Joseph Sperduto, dear Foster children, Christina, Lisa, Diamond Jacqueline and Adrianna. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings Carmine Michael Sperduto, Patrick Joseph Sperduto and Lucy Sperduto- Sprague. He was predeceased by his son, Vincent Sperduto Jr., in 2002.
